My goal is to raise $5,000 before the San Diego Marathon on June 6th. Please be generous, and wish me luck in the race!

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world's largets voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. Offering a wide variety of programs and services in support of our mission to cure Lukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their familiesl The Society is a nonprofit oganization that relies on the generosity of individual and corporate contributions to advance its mission.

I have chosen to join the Team in Training to raise money for several family members and friends that have been directly affected by Leukemia and Hodgkin's disease.

My Patient Honoree is a very special woman Shelly Gossman who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 25. She thankfully caught it before it entered her bone marrow and is fighting to destroy the disease. She credits her support network and Team in Training for helping her stay positive, she says she is alive becuase of the treatments that were available to her.
